Evergreen State College Logging

"Native Plant Demonstration Garden photo by Dana Swarth"

This year, The Evergreen State College cut down this forest in the name of Sustainability. This is a before picture.

Here come the AFTER pictures taken by Dana Swarth

The same general area as the Panorama above  but from a different angle

"Organic" farm

Tragedy

Nice smoke!

These trees, that are up to 80 years old, were cut down by the Evergreen State College this summer. They were cut down as part of a "sustainability" project near the "organic" farm. Evergreen has turned sustainability in to a dirty word.

Remember this is the same college that wants to bring us a forest biomass incinerator in the name of "carbon neutrality"

These logs are a valuable commodity; how much were they sold for?

  1. This is so disturbing! My family has walked through those woods & they were so dense you couldn't see the barn. What is up with Evergreen?
