Hoquiam Makes the National News with Racist Loggers Playday T-Shirt


Answer to the Loggers Playday T-shirts pictured below


A T-shirt design for the Hoquiam Loggers Playdate has caused quite a bit of controversy and a blogger on the other side of the country has come up with his own loggers play day T-shirt. At issue is a T-shirt that shows a beefy looking male logger sporting an American flag while drowning a man with the same face as our president and the logo is "Obama Bin Loggin". Not cool; the loggers play day is supposed to be a family event celebrating deforestation, not an event that supports racism and murder.  The original T-shirt picturing a man drowning Osama,  said "Osama Bin Loggin", and many people find that offensive as well.

Now it is the "Obama Bin Loggin'" t-shirt, with the President's face substituted for Osama.

Way to go Hoquiam! Nice going. Real class. Especially on the eve of the 10th anniversary of 9/11. "

  1. Aside from the obvious objections, loggers need to know that as soon as the Timber Barons figure a way to mechanize the entire industry they can look forward to a future of sitting on a barstool watching their feet disappear under a beer gut.

    Funny, loggers portraying themselves as steroid rampaging, musclebound he-men, when most of the loggers I know are cigarette smokin' & beer-bellied. And I've got to give them credit for their fine participation in actually bringing down Bin Laden. Hoorah for Hoquiam, home of the seriously delusional.
