Bring the YMCA to Mason County

Submitted by Tom and Amy Davis:

As you may know, some of your friends and neighbors have been engaged in bringing a YMCA to Mason County. The effort is being led by Bob Bottman and Sue Sheldon (no, not that Sheldon) of SOCK (Save Our County Kids). Bob and Sue have recently launched a website to promote the “Y” project, which can be accessed from SOCK’s Facebook page. Please show your support and “Like” the “Y” page, leave a comment, and link it to your friends.

Of all the environmental issues facing our community, a YMCA is an opportunity to improve one of the most important: the environment in which our kids grow up. Please join Amy and me in supporting a Mason County YMCA, and “LIKE” the “Y”.

Vandals take advantage of snow storm at Evergreen State College

storm damage

Wow, campus was a mess this morning. Trees down all over Evergreen park way, vandalism all over SEM II, trees down over stairways, and filthy hairy greeners trashing the CAB building with pets and dirt and indoor snow ball fights. I wonder if the kids in the CAB ever thought about who's gonna have to clean up after their mess?  Who thought it would be a good idea to bring a filthy hairy dog into the food service area?  Click on images to enlarge:
